The National Standardization Administration Committee of China issued GB/T 17626.2-2018 Electromagnetic Compatibility Test and Measurement Technology Electrostatic Discharge Immunity Test from June 2018 to July 2007. The standard was implemented from January 2019 to 01. The English standard name is: Electromagnetic compatibility-Testing and measurement techniques-Electrostatic discharge immunity tes. Compared with GB/T 17626.2-2006, the main technical changes are as follows:

—— Calibration procedure and measurement uncertainty are added to the range.

—— Increased terminology: calibration, conformity testing, rise time, verification;

—— Chapter 5: The description of test grade has been revised.

—— The schematic diagram of electrostatic discharge generator was modified.

—— The characteristics of electrostatic discharge generator are increased.

—— The verification of ESD layout is added.

—— Adding A.8, the basic principle of generator specification;

—— Appendix B is revised for the calibration of current measurement system and discharge current measurement.

—— Appendix C is added to meet the current target example of Appendix B.

—— Appendix D, the radiation field produced by human metal discharge and electrostatic discharge generator is added.

—— Appendix E was added to consider measurement uncertainty (MU).

—— Appendix F was added to adjust the change of test results.
